The Oscotian Society is a registered Charity and was formed
as a Membership Society for those who attended St Mary's Seminary, Oscott, Sutton Coldfield. The Society is open to all
those who have been ordained to the Priesthood or Religious Life, or who left the College before Ordination. It is also open
to members of the Permanent Diaconate who have studied at St Mary's.
Our Society aims to celebrate the Catholic Seminary which has been a huge influence on our lives. To encourage past students to visit the College and attend the Annual General Meeting and Mass which is celebrated in the beautiful Pugin Chapel with the students who are studying there now. To pray for those members who have died. To welcome new members from the past and those who have been recently ordained. We aim to be an example to the students attending the seminary. We give grants to the Student Body so they can have some 'home comforts' and to College to contribute to the spiritual fabric of the community. It gives any opportunity to catch up with friends from college days and to share information about those who have lost contact with the college.
